Gochujang Beans and Peppers


Ingredients

For the sauce

1.5 tbsp tamari

1 tbsp gochujang

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp honey

¼ tsp ground ginger


For the sauté

1 tbsp oil

1 large garlic clove, minced

1 bag (about 250g) beans (green or yellow french), washed and ends removed

2 sweet peppers, seeds removed and thinly sliced

2 tbsp minced chives

Sesame seeds


 

Preparation

For the sauce

Whisk all ingredients together and set aside.


For the sauté

Wash and chop veggies.


Heat 1 tbsp oil in a medium sized pan on low and sauté the garlic for about 5 minutes.


Increase heat to medium high and add beans, peppers, and sauce then cover with a lid and cook for about 5 minutes.


After 5 minutes remove the lid and continue cooking until there is little to no liquid left in the pan.


Remove from heat and divide between plates. Garnish with chopped chives and sesame seeds.
